I'm a writer + editor, yoga instructor, and a dedicated student of personal growth. I love writing to the hearts readers. Like many drawn to holistic wellness, I am also on a healing journey.
For a long while, I tried to outrun myself. I numbed my inner callings and suffered from undiagnosed anxiety. I was high-functioning but mostly because I numbed the anxious feelings.
Coming out of college, I was diagnosed with IBS. I couldn’t keep food in my system. I lost weight, excitement, and motivation for the future. My body was rebelling… loudly.
Thankfully, when I turned 24, I was brave enough to listen.

These things helped tremendously, but my mental health still needed tending. I was changing and growing in big ways, but never thought I was doing enough.
Once I stopped numbing through addictive tendencies, I couldn’t ignore my anxiety anymore. I would dive to the bottom of self-help books, seeking answers. However, it wasn’t until I practiced self-kindness and self-compassion that things began to click.
This is why I’m so passionate about self-love, compassion, and acceptance. When we’re not loving ourselves, it’s easy to fall into (or stay in) unhealthy patterns.
By normalizing things like self-talk and living with anxiety, I help people feel less alone during those dark times. I'm committed to spreading mental health awareness and reminders of kindness. I believe in de-stigmatizing mental health one word at a time.

- Got back in touch with my body
- Traveled all over the world studying meditation and wellness
- Sat meditation + healing retreats
- Trained in India to be a yoga instructor
- Taught internationally
